Growing Blue Java Banana in Sydney

For the best results in Sydney, plant Blue Java Banana in a warm, sunny and sheltered position. A north-facing or similarly protected microclimate can be particularly beneficial during the cooler months.

Bananas perform best with consistent moisture but should not remain permanently waterlogged. Apply organic mulch around the root zone to conserve moisture and help maintain more even soil temperatures.
