Choose a warm, sunny position

Bananas need plenty of moisture while actively growing. During hot and dry Sydney weather, check the soil regularly and water deeply. Don't allow the plant to remain in constantly waterlogged soil.

Feed regularly
Gold Finger is a fast-growing plant and benefits from regular nutrition. Use a suitable general-purpose or fruit-tree fertiliser according to the product directions, particularly during the warmer growing season.

Mulch around the plant

Allow room to grow
